Semester Project: Create a silent short film.

Objectives: Students will utilize basic terminology and camera techniques to create a silent film that establishes mood and story.

Grading: One third of the final grade is based on class participation and activities. One third of the final grade is based on quiz and examination. One third of the final grade is based on the final project.

Appropriate Dress: Casual, no open toe shoes.

Teaching Philosophy: This class will adhere to Student Policies and Standards as set forth in the UMHB Student Handbook.

Class Requirements: Students are expected to participate in various projects throughout the course. Projects include, lighting setups and critiques,
composition setups and critiques, film recommendations, and a short film.
